3. Rescue Assist App for First Responders Uses Augmented RealityMercedes-Benz unveils an app made for first responders in car accidents. The Rescue Assist app uses digital rescue cards that show a 3D model of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, which rescuers can use to know how to best remove trapped passengers in a crashed car. Augmented reality is used as internal components are laid on top of the real scene of the accident. This app comes with an offline feature so that no time is wasted during a rescue.
