Meet Bingle Alisasis, Outbound Lead Generation and Travelling Sage

Step Change, Culture & Leadership

At its core, Step Change is a sum of the smart and talented individuals who make up the heart of the agency. But many people may not know that we have a remote team that provides us with the quiet support we need to deal with all the nitty-gritty. Today, let’s get to know one of our team members from the Philippines, Bingle.

What is a typical day in Step Change like?

My day usually revolves around checking emails, providing support to our New Business team, helping our Strategy Development Exec Jack and our Founding Partner Jeff with different research tasks, doing outbound calls to clients before any of our Step Change events.

What was your best day at work?

I know there will be better days to come, but the best day so far for me was when the call script I worked on received Jack’s approval, which meant that he knows and trusts that I can carry on a conversation with clients the best way possible.

What are you most proud of while working for Step Change?

In my work with Step Change, I’m most proud of gaining the team’s trust and confidence that I can do a good job with whatever task is asked of me and their faith in my ability to help them achieve their goals.

What’s the favourite industry you’ve worked in? Why?

No favourites, just businesses that have cool products and have great minds making them better.

Which part of the Step Change culture do you like the most? Why?

I appreciate the trust that Step Change has given me.

Even when we don’t work side by side, as in a traditional work environment, the team at the Sydney office are confident that I will be responsible and mature, that I won’t slack off, and that I will deliver what is needed from me. Even if I am far away, they see me as a valued member of the team.

Outside of work, what do you love to do? What are you passionate about? Do you have a passion project? Tell us about it.

I mostly focus my time with my nieces and nephews, particularly with the youngest child in our household. Since I don’t have a child of my own, I want to give as much time, effort, and love in raising and educating the little one, so she will grow up to be a kind and successful person.

I also consider myself a globetrotter. I love travelling! I've been to South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, all the seven emirates of United Arab Emirates, Georgia, and Armenia.

Where to next: Turkey, Taiwan, Thailand, and Bali.

How can businesses have a better impact on the world?

I wish businesses would be more conscious of the environment (be more eco-friendly and have a lesser carbon footprint), be more humane (no animal cruelty, be more organic, and focus on what’s good for the body).

It would be great if businesses become more socially aware and active in spreading what’s good for the world and not just a specific target audience. WORLD PEACE!

Is your strategy bottom line or bottom drawer?
